This year the association agreed to have 50/50 raffles at several
horse shows throughout the region. The first raffle was held at
Dublin, Va. with a member of the association having the winning
ticket. A special "thank you" for his kindness for donating the winnings
back to the association's futurity fund. The next raffle was held at
Blue Ridge Classic in July. The next raffle is planned for NC State
Fair Horse Show. All members are encouraged to help sell raffle
tickets to help raise funds for the futurity.
